Reviews
Clover® Leather Thimble Set is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable and effective, but the wear out WAY to quickly I like these thimbles. I quilt with my thumb and the little plastic edge helps me push the needle through. However, they stretch out extremely quickly! Also, I think they have started using a weaker plastic recently and my needle eventually punches through the plastic (within bout an hour now, used to be a few days). This probably wouldn't be a problem if you use the leather part to push the needle, but for me it means I'm looking for a new option unless they go back to the old tougher plastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly perfect A little pricy, and they do come apart, but as stated they can be sewn back together. That said, this is the only thimble I have found that I can work with. I use it to push the needle through the fabric without it going through my thumb. I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! No sweat - No sore fingers I could never keep a regular thimble on my finger no matter what size I bought. My nail tips were always pushing them off or sweating them off or they would just fall off because my finger was too dry when I put one on the first time. I saw these at another distributor and thought they looked kind of strange but decided to try them anyway - the price was right. I was tired of having to use bandaids for cushioning to save my fingertips. I am now ordering more from you and I'm always sharing them and telling others in our sewing group what a wonderful "finger saver" they are.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing Good price but didn't suit my needs. I was not able to keep it in place while working for the life of me. Too much "stretch". I had to give up and go back to Band-Aids for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great invention-a "must have" Finally, a great breathable thimble I use on my index finger to push the needle thru when hand-quilting and the needle doesn't slip. I have never been able to control the needle with an old-fashioned style thimble. I purchase several packets of 3 at a time on-line (living in Vanuatu, it is the only way I can shop!)so I won't run out-they don't last forever-I go thru an average of 2 per quilt, but they are not expensive. Great value and I wouldn't be without them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No More Sore Fingers My crazy quilting addiction was leaving me with sore fingers. The idea of a metal thimble was unappealing. These are great-no sore fingers and I'm not constricted. I wear one on my thumb and found it very easy to adjust the size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Thimble For Quilting I do a lot of fine quilting. This thimble has really helped me because of its small size and flexibility. People need to realize that this is a disposable item that is not designed to last forever. This product has been essential in me achieving 12 stitches/inch. I buy them in bulk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Finger can breath! I have used this thimble for two or three years now and love it. I have a large finger and so I had a difficult time finding any thimble that fit properly. My next problem was finding a thimble that wouldn't make my finger sweat. I always felt like my finger was suffocating in the full leather and metal thimbles, but the Clover Leather Thimble has solved my problems! I did have trouble with the thread breaking on one of the thimbles, and I lost the second one - got to be around here somewhere! - but the third thimble has been a dream! I'm glad they come in threes. The thimble was a little tight at first, but it stretches out and is very comfortable now. I will definately buy this thimble again!
