Disappointed
I'm disappointed in this pom pom maker. Based on the reviews I read on both this size and the large, I went ahead and about both sizes. I have wasted yarn trying to get a perfect pom pom and the only way I can get one is to place the wrapping yarn against a hard surface to make the pom pom look full. I had better results with the cardboard and will go back to that way. If you know how to use the cardboard maker, I suggest you keep using it.

So happy I don't have to make cardboard templates for pom poms anymore. What a great tool!
Best pom pom maker
I have this pom pom maker in all the sizes. It is very easy to use and makes the most uniform pom poms with very little trimming/waste. I am buying the heart shaped one too.
Invention of the Devil
The instructions were incredibly complicated and the pom poms weren't as nice as the ones I've made by wrappnig yarn around cardboard. I'd say that overall, the pom pom was made successfully, but it was not as efficient or uniform as advertised.
Best thing since sliced bread
Our group is making caps for cancer victims and orphanages. The pom pom maker makes perfect ones every time, no trimming.
Best Pom-Pom Gadget
I just love the Clover Pom-Pom makers. I have all of them. After using another tool to make pom-poms then using the Clover Pom-Pom makers, I will not use the other tool to make pom-poms.

Quick and easy
The thought of making 100 pom-poms for a Christmas project made me dizzy. Fortunatly I received a set of the pom-pom makers as a gift and I was spared the orderal of making them the old fashioned way by winding yarn around cardboard. My gadget crazy husband joined in the fun and ended up cranking out more than half. This is a no-fail way to make pom-poms and is quite addictive!
