Clover Chalk Pencil not fit for purpose
These chalk pencils do not mark most fabrics. They are useless for marking most kinds of fabrics in any useful way without damaging the fabric. To leave even a slightly visible line, one must exert force and go over the surface of the fabric repeatedly. The result is that most fabrics will be damaged by the repeated efforts, and the lines will be smudged and not useful to follow as cutting, sewing or dart lines.

Fabric marking pencils.
They work! Pink and blue are softer and work better. I am still trying to figure out the white. I am also trying to find My school type hand held pencil sharpener to sharpen them. I am using them so far for quilting— marking lines for cutting half square triangles. Haven’t used them yet to stencil in designs so can’t comment on how well the marks can be erased where the marks are temporary.

Clover ThreeColor Pencils
Nice firm pencil for marking kines to cut out masks. The three colors are handy-I have them all on the go in case one doesn’t show up well on print fabric.
