Clearly cool! Six Cat's Eye inkpads in one unique package. Stack and re-stack them. Apply ink Direct-To-Paper. Raised inking surface - use Cat's Eye inkpads with any size stamp. Ideal for embossing: ColorBox inks dry slowly and offer generous working time for embossing powders to adhere to the stamped image. Rich, thick, ColorBox pigment inks are Acid Free, fade resistant and unsurpassed for stamping on absorbent papers where sharp details and archival quality are desired. Water-based ColorBox inks will not dry out or leak.
The size is convenient for taking to crops. The colors are nice but they can dry out easily (with age). The snap together container gets loose after a couple years. I keep6 Queue's in a snack size zip lock plastic bag in between projects. Love the metallic pigment set but need to replace the chalk sets...the pads fell apart.
This is by far my favorite set of stamp pads. They work perfectly with or without clear embossing powders. My favorite part is how easily you can dab several colors onto one stamp making it simple to create a multi-colored look rather than just one boring color. I love it and recommend this product. (Price-wise, it could be less expensive.)
I love to use these for my projects. They add color and depth to the edges very easily. However, they do seem to fall apart, so I keep a rubber band around each set to keep them from drying out. The other problem is that some of the sponges have fallen off, rendering them pretty mush useless. I'd like to know how to get them back in place permanently!
Hi..I have some of the ColorBox cats eye chalks, in the stackable containers and individuals also. I have a friend who has a baby and she bought the Gerber's baby foods in those rectangular containers. There were 2 different sizes she gave to me. The taller of the two will hold one set of the cats eye inks. Plus it will hold 3 of the individual inks. Also, these baby food containers stack will stack. I keep mine in a bigger container that I can keep them together in, just because it is easier to find. I use more of the cat's eye chalks but it works just the same. I also had one of my chalk ink pads come loose. Grrr. I think I need to try and see if I can glue it back with something.
The sponges are glued on to each cat's eye. I have now had two sponges become unglued while crafting and gets messy and ruined my project. Do you buy these, buy the petal sets!
these cat eyes are great. so much variety. is better when you buy it on sale, because other way is a bit expensive
I have very bad arthritis in my hands and it's hard to hang onto things. I think these are great. I use the tool you can buy for these, snap it on, take the cover off and NO MESS. I found it messy when I didn't use the black snap on tool.
but I agree w/ the one reviewer is the tops fall off and they can get messy. But I love the results. I've used it to alter textured paper and blend it with the next page. It's great for highlighting the edges of the paper or when bordering a picture. Definitely something you want to have on hand and in many colors.
