Sparkly Half Marathon Costume
They sell skirts made from this fabric online but I wanted to make my own. The width made it easy to cut out a circle skirt and the stretch makes it easy to pop over my head while designing. I’m also making a matching shirt which protects my arms from the sun. The fabric is so lightweight and breathable it’s perfect for this purpose.

Do Not Buy
Do not buy this fabric for any type of clothing wear or something you will wash. The fabric foil dots fall off everywhere! Do not purchase, a total waste of money. Foil dots stuck to everything.

Confetti falls off
I ordered this and it arrived today. I put it in the washing machine and put it on the recommended settings and SO MANY of the confetti dots fell off. My washer is full of confetti dots. Do not recommend.

Gums my machine needles!
My experience is exactly the same as another reviewers: I have to stop my machine every few inches of stitching to deal with the gummy, glue-like residue that collects on the needle. I cannot sew more than 5" without this happening. Very frustrating! The fabric is lovely for costumes in every other way. Older reviews don't mention this problem so I wonder if there has been a change in how it is made.

Love the idea, keeps messing up my sewing machine
I love that the fabric is sparkly and *doesn't* shed everywhere. The issue is when I sew it inevitably ALWAYS gives me a hard time. I've changed needle, tension, stitch, etc - I think the issue is the glue that holds the dots on gets on the needle and then it doesn't for some reason grasp the bottom thread...so I'll sew a few inches only to realize the top and bottom weren't connecting on every stitch. If you're hand sewing I imagine the fabric is great!

Great for cutting ribbons
I use this for my team of color guard students at the high school level, and I get about 45-50 per yard. Cutting it results in tons of little bits of glitter all over your floor or table, but they are super cute to wear!
