DECORATIVE PHOTO FRAMES
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • Conso® ready-to-finish frame
  • Fabric
  • Self-adhesive trim, designer motifs
  • Scissors
  • Measuring Tape

DIRECTIONS: Refer to instructions on Conso® packaging to determine fabric yardage required.
1. Remove protective paper to use as templates. Pin onto fabric and cut out.

2. Starting at top of frame; place, roll and gently press fabric down the frame.

3. Measure for trim placement, covering all raw edges of fabric and sides of frame, if desired. Add self-adhesive designer motifs. When measuring trim for the edges, allow extra length to around to the back of the frame for a finished look.

TOILE WASTEBASKET & TISSUE COVERS
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Conso® ready-to-finish wastebasket or tissue cover
  • 2 pkgs scroll braid: black, white
  • Fabrics: Black & white toile, black damask
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape

DIRECTIONS: Refer to instructions on Conso® packaging to determine fabric yardage required.
1. Peel off protective paper cover to use as template.

2. Measure the height of the ready-to-finish wastebasket or tissue cover. Measure & mark a point one-third to one-half way down from the top of the wastebasket or tissue cover. Draw a straight or wavy line around the wastebasket or tissue cover from that mark. Cut the template along that line.

3. Pin template onto the fabric and cut out.

4. Turn ready-to-finish wastebasket or tissue cover on its side, position the fabric on the adhesive; gently roll around the piece. Pin the template for the tissue cover top onto the fabric. Cut it out, position and adhere.

5. Pull back a few inches of the trim's protective backing. Position & adhere trims to cover all raw fabric edges.

6. Trim end-to-end, or allow to fold over the raw edge for a finished look.

DECORATIVE FOOTSTOOL
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • Conso® ready-to-finish footstool
  • Trims*: Mini pompom, cord, braid
  • Fabric
  • Staple gun
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape
  • Pins

DIRECTIONS: Refer to instructions on
Conso® packaging to determine fabric yardage
required. RS = Right side(s) WS = Wrong side(s)

1. Lay fabric RS down on work surface. Place footstool on center of WS of fabric.

2. Start on one side; bring fabric up around to bottom side of footstool. Put in 4 or 5 staples 1/2" apart. Repeat on opposite sides until all are stapled in place.

3. Fold corners like a present & staple down.

4. Start a few inches on the bottom & adhere trim around the sides to the top of the footstool, then back underneath to the other side, overlapping a few inches.

5. Trim around the bottom edge.

6. Embellish with monograms and designer motifs.

7. Turn footstool over and trim fabric.

*Measure all lengths of the footstool to add trim. Add 2" to 4" to each length for wrapping.

OPTIONS:
- Use nailhead, twill tape or beaded trim around the sides of footstool.
- Use a solid fabric for the bottom & a decorative band around the center of the footstool.
- Use designer motifs to embellish the footstool.
