SLIPPERS (make 2)

Sole
With MC ch 21.
Rnd 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hk, sc in next 16 ch, [2 sc in next ch] twice, 5 sc in last ch. Now work down the opposite side of starting chain, [2 sc in next ch] twice, sc in next 16 ch, 2 sc in next ch – 48 sc.
Rnd 2: 2 Sc in 1st sc, sc in next 20 sc, [2 sc in next sc] 5 times, sc in next 20 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc – 55 sc.
Rnd 3: 2 Sc in 1st sc, sc in next 23 sc, [2 sc in next sc] 6 times, sc in next 23 sc, [2 sc in next sc] 2 times – 64 sc.
Rnds 4-6: Sc around.

Sides
Rnd 1:
Working in back loops only, [sc] in each sc around.
Rnd 2: [Sc] in each sc around.
Rnd 3: Sc in next 31 sc, turn.
Begin working in rows.
Row 1: Sl st in 1st sc, sc in next 62 sc, turn.

Front Edging
Row 1:
With MC, work 45 sc evenly around the front opening of the Slipper, turn.
Eyelet Row: Ch 1, {[hdc, ch 1] in next sc, sk next sc} across, end hdc in last sc.
Fasten off.

Top Edging
Row 1:
With CC, work 30 sc across the top of the Slipper, turn.
Row 2: Ch 3, [dc] across.
Fasten off.

Laces (make 2)
Cut 2 lengths of CC 60" long, twist them together, fold in half, and allow to twist back on themselves to create a twisted cord.

Pom Pom (make 4)
With 2 ends of CC, wrap yarn 2" piece of cardboard 30 times. Tie off in center and cut loops on both sides. Trim as needed to create smooth Pom Pom.

FINISHING
Weave laces in and out of eyelet row. Attach a pompom to each end of the Laces.
Weave in ends.
