This starter sewing kit contains all the essential tools. Included are one pair of shears (8-1/2 inches long), thirty assorted needles in a compact storage case, one 60-inch long flexible tape measure, one hem gauge, one seam ripper with a button hole cutter, one tomato pin cushion, 100 pins, one metal thimble, and a needle threader.

Since we are both sew, we made up sewing boxes containing what we think would be very useful to a missionary on the field. When they visit they can select what items they want to take back on the field with them. There has been three boxes go out of there in one year, a very popular item.
