Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite clay I use thus clay for my shop consistently. I can wet it for smoother form and let it dry for less squishing during the drying process. It's more durable, but if it gets thin, it gets fragile.I feel the amount of space used with the bucket is a bit wasteful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice inexpensive modeling material When it dries is shrinks just a tiny bit and creates cracks if you have seams, folds, or large areas, but you can go back and fill those in with more of the modeling foam. It is difficult to create a very smooth surface unless you are just making a little ball, but I found it very useful for making small rough pieces for costume props. Use a dab of water to make the material more pliable to smooth over cracks and seams. Hot glue (on low setting) worked great for sealing cracks and I was also able to spray paint over it. I only wish the tub came in black, but you can only get white, neon, or assorted. Buying the tub at 50% off is much cheaper than buying a bunch of packs. The tub contains multiple sealed packs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very fun! This stuff is very good, but as mentioned before, it's not for serious sculptors. I usually just buy the white, because i color the model magic with markers and then like knead the model magic for it to all spread out instead of actually buying every single color. Overall this is very easy and fun to use!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great light product I used this product to sculpt about 30 snakes for a Medusa headpiece. The clay is light like foam so the headpiece did not weigh as much as if i had made it out of any other clay. As for gluing the pieces I found that a hot craft glue worked excellently!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this stuff This stuff is not for the serious sculptor. My goal is more of the cartoon characters and Model Magic is perfect for that. It makes beautiful Christmas decorations. It's tons of fun to work with; I'm completely hooked on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Product I'm 13 and I use model magic to make clay animals for friends and family and they love them. We always buy the buckets of primary colors and white so we can make any color possible. I love how model magic does not make you or anything it touches messy. The only way to this can stain is if you really pound and rub it into furniture or clothing or if it happens to be wet (its not supposed to be wet). It won't shatter if you drop it, but if the pieces weren't strongly put together, a couple might break off, but it can be easily tacky glued back on. This clay is light-weight when soft or dried, and it's ideal for little kids because the clay doesnt stain or get messy, and air-drying saves money. We buy this all the time. Thanks Crayola!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not worth it This is fine and dandy for easy kid's crafts, but for a serious sculpting medium, it is pure rubbish. It is hard to use and dries EXTREMELY fragile. Feels like you can just look at it wrong and a piece will fall off. Just use Super Sculpey, you will get MUCH better results, and finer detail that will put Model Magic to shame.
