Description

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Sensations™ Rainbow Classic yarn, 1 skein each: white, bright multi
  • Crochet needle, size H
  • Measuring tape
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

Chain 40 with white.
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 2 turn.
Rows 2-5: Repeat Row 1.
Row 6: Sc in each hdc across row. Ch 1 turn.
Rows 7-10: Repeat Row 6.
Row 11: Change to bright multi yarn and sc across row.
Row 12: Continue with sc until purse measures 16".
Change to white.
Row 1: Sc in each sc across row, ch 1 turn.
Rows 2-5: Repeat Row 1 of white.
Row 6: Hdc in each sc across, ch 2 turn.
Rows 7-10: Repeat Row 6.
Weave in ends. With right sides together, stitch side seams.

Handles – make two in white. Chain 60.
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd chain from hook and in each ch to end. Ch 2 turn.
Row 2: Hdc in each hdc across to end.
Weave in ends.

Flower:
With bright multi yarn, ch 7. Sl st into bottom of chain. Repeat 4 times.
Sl st into first ch 7 to complete circle.
Sc, hdc, 2 dc, hdc, sc in first ch 7 loop.
Sc in sp between next loop.
Repeat for each loop to last ch 7 loop.
End with sl st into first loop.
Cut yarn, leaving a 6" tail for attaching flower to purse.
For center of flower, sl st white through the bottom of a sc.
Sc around center to end. Sl st to first sc.
Cut white yarn leaving a tail of 6" for attaching to purse.
Tie flower on purse.
