SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Lily® Sugar’n Cream® (Solids: 2.5 oz/70.9 g; 120 yds/109 m, Ombres: 2 oz/56.7 g; 95 yds/86 m)
    • Crochet hook size U.S. G/6 (4 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
    • Polyester stuffing
    • Scissors
    • Tape measure

    MEASUREMENTS:

    Approx 2-1/2" [6 cm] in diameter

    GAUGE:

    15 sc and 16 rows = 4" [10 cm]

    DIRECTIONS:

    First Half
    **With MC, ch 2.
    1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc.
    2nd rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. 12 sc.
    3rd rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in next sc. 2 scin next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 18 sc.
    4th rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next2 sc. 2 sc in next sc. Rep from *around. Join with sl st to first sc.24 sc.
    5th rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next4 sc. Sc2tog. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 20 sts. Fasten off.**
    Second Half
    Work from ** to ** as given for First Half.
    Join Halves: Holding First and Second Half together, join A with sl st to any sc of 5th rnd. Ch 1.Working in back loops only of both halves, work 1 sc in each of next12 sc. Stuff Macaron lightly. 1 sc in each sc to end of rnd. Join
