    • SPECIAL STITCHES and TECHNIQUES
    • Adjustable-ring Method: Wrap yarn into a ring, ensuring that the tail falls behind the working yarn. Grip ring and tail firmly between middle finger and thumb. Insert hook through center of ring, yarn over with working yarn and pull up a loop. Chain the appropriate number, then work stitches of first round in the ring. After the first round of stitches is worked, pull gently on tail to tighten ring.
    • beg-Cl (beginning cluster): Ch 2, yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch or space and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook; yarn over, insert hook in same stitch or space and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook; yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on hook.
    • 3-dc Cl (three double crochet cluster): Yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch or space and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook, (yarn over, insert hook in same stitch or space and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook) 2 times; yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook.
    • Picot: Ch 3, sl st in top of previous sc (insert hook in front loop of sc and left most vertical bar under front loop of same single crochet, yo, and pull through vertical bar, front loop, and loop on hook).

    • NOTES:
