  • Clear glass coin beads

  • Clear faceted glass beads

  • Silver wire, 24-gauge

  • Flat & needle-nose pliers

  • Cutters

  1. Cut 2 segments of 24-gauge wire, each 36" long.

  2. Cut the octagonal strands, to a length of about 8-1/2", leaving an open link on each end.

  3. Attach each link to the lamp top and bottom.

  4. Take a wire from the step #1, and string a glass coin bead; through the first link of the top of the lamp. Continue to add beads to go around the top of the lamp, alternating one link of the octagonal chain and one bead.

  5. Repeat step #4 for the bottom lamp using clear faceted beads.

  6. To finish off, wrap the wire a few times around the last bead, in a discreet spot, and trim.

  • Tape

  1. Cut two segments of Gold tiger tails, approximately 24" and 28". Secure on end of each strand with a piece to tape, to prevent your beads from sliding off.

  2. Create connector to go between the burgundy crystals: Using burgundy beads and eyepins, slide one bead onto the eyepin and create a simple loop. Create 24 of these connectors.

  3. Begin to string beads. Using first the burgundy crystals, string approximately 6" worth; alternating between every third bead one loop of the eyepin connectors created in step 2.

  4. Next, string 5 light pink crystals.

  5. Next, string 6 large purple beads.

  6. Mirror this pattern on the other side: stringing next light pink beads and then burgundy crystals with connectors between every third bead.

  7. Next, work on the second, larger strand.

  8. String approximately 6.5” of burgundy crystals, picking up the eyepin connector every third bead. Then 5 light pink crystals, 8 large purple crystals, then 5 light pink, and another 6-1/2" of burgundy beads and connectors.

  9. Line these two strands up with each other and the clasp. Add or remove burgundy beads from the ends to line both layers up nicely. Crimp all 4 ends to the end bar/clasp using the crimping technique.

  10. Connect a short length of chain for an extender, and a lobster clasp with jump rings.

  1. String a jump ring through each of the pink crystal spikes.

  2. Attach this jump ring to the end of a short 1" length of gold chain.

  3. Create dangles by sliding one burgundy crystal onto a headpin. Form a simple loop. Repeat 17 times to create 18 burgundy dangles.

  4. Connect the dangles onto various links of the gold chain.

  5. Add an earwire to finish the earrings.
