love for a little while
I'm getting ready to reorder these for the 4th time. They cut beautifully for a couple of months but then lose their edge. I order them when they are on sale so that I always have a super sharp pair for intricate cuts.
They're not all the same!
I couldn't imagine there could be this much difference between scissors! I do cardmaking, and I often cut out small, intricate designs. These scissors are excellent! They are so sharp and allow you to get into the tiniest corners with ease. If you do a lot of detailed cutting, do yourself a favor and get a pair of these. I can tell a huge difference between them and my other scissors... which I had thought were pretty good.
Just Buy Them
I kept telling myself I was not going to spend that much money on a tiny pair of scissors. But just buy them! I love these things and used them all the time in card making. With the teflon coating, they're easy to clean if you cut something sticky, and mine have stayed nice and sharp (thank you for the safety cover). I am very pleased with this product.
Honeymoon Is Over Quickly
I have owned 3 of these scissors in the past 2 years. I make cards and use these for detailed or intricate cutting. I like the pointy ends for small angles, and they're easier to maneuver than larger pairs, but they're not comfortable to use for more than 10 or 15 minutes of cutting out paper and cardstock. But the reason I'm not buying them anymore is that they don't stay sharp. At first, they're razor sharp and easy to use. But after a month or two of using them maybe 30 minutes or so every day, they lose their edge. Two of them stopped making sharp cuts and gave ragged edges, especially near the middle of the blade where they get the most use. Good for tight spaces but not a lasting everyday scissors.
Great Scissors!
These scissors are great for crafts of all types! They're nice and sharp (come with a cover for safety) and they have a pointed tip which definitely comes in handy.
