love it

Reviewer: kara lynn, 05/16/2013

i have my cb for a few months and i love it. Mine didn't come with the C plate but i found it on amazon. I have no problems with the dies the CB cuts cleanly. The embossing is amazing. I use the embossing to make stencils for my friend who's learning cake decorating.

C plate

Reviewer: Eva, 05/16/2013

I love my Cuddlebug and use it almost daily. I do agree with a previous review that they should NOT have discontinued the C plate though. It is a vital part of the machine and to have to buy it separately was not a good move on Provo's part.

Hi, I'm just responding to all who can't find a "C" plate. Just go to a glass supplier and ask for acylic plates Take one of your "B" plates so they can match up the size. Tell them you'd like it to be 1/4" (I think) thickness and get them to cut you one until you see if the thickness correct. You can have long plates made too for those long dies. Don't give up on this great little machine. Take anywhere, no electricity required. Love it. A Canadian eh.

Cuttlebug

Reviewer: Priscilla, 02/05/2013

This is by far the best investment i have made for my craft. I use it all the time with embossing folders and dies. For those of you with newer ones that can not find C plates, Look online, there are sites out there that sell them. (its a shame the company has stopped providing them) Also some dies need to be run thru a couple of times in a different area of your CB as the base varies. I have not found one die that won't cut. There is also a metal shim from Cheery Lynn that will help with the extremely intricate dies. This machine is "the bomb" for the price.!

won't cut through the die's

great for embossing, but does not cut through die's. this is my first machine and I;m very disapointed. My machine is black.

Not cutting

Reviewer: Anonymous, 10/26/2012

I have a new cuttlebug machine but it just won't cut through the dies cleanly. Some are part cut and some not at all - I am using Marriane dies. I have tried various thickness cards, thicker and thinner, putting them through twice - everything I can think of - help what on earth can I do now, I am wasting so much card.

Cuttlebug C

Reviewer: Nancy, 09/26/2012

I'm so annoyed...went to use my small die cuts to make a card I needed to get in the mail, and wouldn't you know the C plates are no longer sold with the cuttlebug machine and I can't find them. I hope I can take it back and get my money back. Only thing I can do with it is emboss.

My Favorite Machine

Reviewer: Sheri, 03/09/2012

I'm probaly the only one out there demoing the Cuttlebug Machine at trade shows. I own 5 machines but the Cuttlebug is my all time favorite. I like it because I travel a lot and it's portable. For those that are having problems cutting out your dies. Use my stacking order and you'll be good to go. When I demo the machine at the Expo shows I'm cutting everything, Soda cans, fabric, plastic 7-up bottles, glitter paper, fun foam & a course paper as well. The one thing you have to remember is the way you stack everything. My secret to my stacking order is the metal adaptor plate from Cheery Lynn Designs. Stacking Order for Die Cutting - A-Plate, C-Plate, Metal Plate, Die (facing up), paper pretty side down, 2-sheets of Index Paper & B-Plate
