love it!
i got a variety of sizes of letters from my last joann.com order and this font and size is my favorite. not too big, not too small. i decorate them with paper and embellishments and the thickness of these letters allows me to easily add a strip of paper all the way around to decorate.
Sturdy at 7.5"
First of all, these are bigger than the description at 7.5", not 5" with a thickness of 5/8" compared to plywood. That being said, these are perfect for us. The 12" were too big and the 6" letters didn't have all the letters we needed. So, we went with these. We were pleasantly surprised when they arrived and were 7.5".
Standout!
I use these letters in my (very) small business. I paint, sand, adhere scrapbook paper and embellish them. They are then screwed together. The great thing is that they are thick enough to then stand on a surface OR mounted on a wall. Some have imperfections that can be eliminated with some wood putty and sand paper. The best letters I have found - and they're stylish too, not real frumpy

Great Letters
These are fantasic letters for any use. We are useing them to put our daughters name on her wall. Doesn't "drink" alot of paint so it makes it easier. Only thing I will recommend is make sure you have some sand paper on hand, not all of them have the smoothest edges!
