How To Get It
Sulky Premium Invisible Thread is a very fine .004 polyester monofilament that is soft enough for baby quilts or garments that will be worn next to the skin. It is much more heat tolerant than nylon; it will not melt with normal ironing through the cotton setting. It is perfect for machine "hand-look" quilting, stitching in the ditch, invisible appliqué, and hems. Choose smoke for darker fabrics and clear for lighter fabrics. This is the size for you if this is your go-to thread for machine appliqué and quilting. Works well in the bobbin.

Terrible service and delivery
A partial order finally arrived after a month and one of my Sulky threads came so tangled I’m going to have to return it to the store. It has three or more threads as starting points and are tangled up so badly. I will be ordering straight from Sulky next time. Guess I’ll be making my Christmas gift for next year. 😞

Coats and Clark thread
I had seen a YouTube tutorial, where the thread was used on her bead work. So I decided to try it myself and I can say yes it is a very good thread. It’s so far the best I’ve found. For my jewelry making project. JoAnn has the best collection of threads. I would recommend you check them out. Great prices for the best quality of materials.

Constantly breaks :(
Bought it with the hope that I could use it in my bobbin, as I’ve read many reviews that talked about it as a great choice so you don’t have to keep swapping out your bobbin all the time. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even get it wound on the bobbin without it breaking. It would go around a couple of times, and then snap. Useless. Bummer.

Love it except getting off spool!
I love using this but almost every spool ends up a loss because it gets imbedded into itself and is impossible to use. I use bobbins on top and bottom of machine to stop breakage, but eventually I can’t get thread to leave spool efficiently. Otherwise it is nice to sew with. Waste takes away stars from rating.

you need to give the thread color number on your website rather than just the color name. there is no way of knowing who gave the colors their names . the thread is great though

Nice thread, but . . .
The thread works well enough, and this is a convenient size for me as a hobbyist embroiderer. My problem is the labels on the 850-yard size keep drying up and falling off, taking the color number with them. The shape of this size spool has no place to write the number. Elmer's glue seems to be working, but why can't Sulky use better glue or find a way to print the number on the spool? I need the color number to use with the embroidery software. I live part time in Arizona, so that may be part of the problem, but so do other embroiderers.

Description at Joann site needs correction with rayon as content when spool label and image show all polyester. Great thread for free motion quilting.
