Delta Ceramcoat is ideal for decorative craft projects, including tole. Brushes on evenly on most smooth surfaces; dries to a uniform matte, permanent finish.
I have painted for years with these paints. They are absolutely the best there are. I do tole painting, fabric painting (must add fabric medium) but I have even accidentally washed by tole painted pins, and the paint and varnish hold up to the washing machine cycle. They need to be replaced now and then because they tend to thicken up if they sit "unused" for too long, but over all this brand is the best there is.
I have used Delta Ceramcoat for many years now. First in bisque, then in papier mache, then in polymer clay. It does an excellent job. It is really opaque - not like other brands that required 2 to 3 coats. I love it and own a whole rainbow of colors. Would recommned it to those that look for a quality finish
