Rated 5 out of 5 by MRS. S. from LOVE THESE LOOMS I HAVE A PLASTIC POTHOLDER LOOM, AND DON'T FEEL IT'S WORTH THE TIME OF DAY, BUT THESE METAL ONES I LOVE. I HAD ONE FROM YEARS AGO, AND AM GETTING ANOTHER. THEY ARE GREAT. I DON'T USE LOOPERS ANY MORE TO WEAVE ON THEM THOUGH, I USE YARN INSTEAD, AND WAS HAPPY TO FIND FREE VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS ONLINE FOR WEAVING WITH YARN. THESE ARE GREAT LITTLE LOOMS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Heather from Great Fun I mother had one metal loom and one plastic loom. My siblings and I would fight over the metal one. The plastic one was worthless. When I moved out on my own I had to have one too. I am now buying one for my daughter now that they are made in metal again. (We always used the top part of cotton socks for our loops.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by LadyOutlaw from House has a 50 / 50 vote on this.... My DH is the master of this craft, so when the G-kids wanted to learn, he stepped up without hesitation. The one loom he liked best, especially to teach young children, is a white plastic one that allows easier access to the loops. It seems all the different brands of loops are just a tad small so we have to stretch them out good ahead of time. For lasting and not breaking as plastic does, this is great, but again, as for the younger ones & being difficult, I have to give it a lower rating. If anyone knows of a good source for loops, I would love to hear about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Karen from This is fantastic! I have owned one of these for at least 40 years. I have the plastic one to, but prefer the metal loom. I have made potholders and placemats to numberous to count for myself, family and friends. They make great gifts as well. My kids used them as well when they were growing up. Great loom! I recommend it to everyone that likes to create things! Use the cotton loops though for potholders, the nylon loops melt with things that are really hot. Great! I would buy again if I lost mine!
