My go to for redwork
I love using DMC thread, especially for my redwork embroidery. It's though, hasn't bled, and is easy to work with. This is all I use.

Easy to work with
My daughter used this for the stitching on a quilt for a wedding gift for her friend. It was very easy to work with, didn't tangle or get twisted easily, and, didn't fray easily. We were confused as to how many yards are in each ball and ended up estimating what we would need. We have several balls leftover, but have made plans for another quilt, exactly like the first one.

Perle Cotton #8 color # 776
according to the color chart, my perle cotton should have been a light blue. It is a medium pink. I recorded and was assured that I would be getting the correct colot the second time. I returned the wrong thread to my local store. I received the replacement spool the other day...it is pink. I will return it and go elsewhere.

High Quality Embroidery Thread
Used it for embroidery on both linen and cotton fabric. High quality, tested colorfast, and extremely easy to use. Makes for a luscious, thick finished look. Got every single color I ordered - no mix ups. Shipping time varies - ordered a bunch from Joann twice, one shipping time lagged greatly (within a week to ship), the other shipped very fast (within a day to ship).

Online color not accurate
The online color of the perle cotton I needed looked like variegated browns and it was in reality orange and yellow. I was unable to use it on my project.
