Dots Layer Cake

- Favorite white cake recipe or mix (6-3/4 cups batter needed)
- Plastic ruler
- Food-safe scissors
*Combine Rose with Violet for violet shown.
1. Prepare batter following cake recipe directions. Divide batter into three portions and tint green, rose and violet. Bake cakes and allow to cool. Stack and fill with your favorite filling for a 3-layer cake, 6" high.
2. Use spatula and icing to ice cake smooth. Use tip 1M, cut disposable decorating bag and icing to pipe stars around top edge of cake. Attach jumbo confetti on top of stars and on sides of cake. Use dab of icing to attach, if necessary.
