  • Fog Gray, 3 balls (A)

  • Green, 1 ball (C)
  • Needles: Size US 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle, waste yarn or stitch holder

    • Row 1 (RS): With B, knit.

    • With A, cast on 75 sts.
    • * With A, work 30 rows in Garter Stitch.
    • Work Rows 1-6 of Stripe Pattern.
    • Rep from * two more times.
    • With A, work 30 rows in Garter Stitch.
    • Slip all sts onto waste yarn or stitch holder.
    • With RS facing, using B, pick up and knit 69 sts (1 st for every 2 rows) along one side edge of Center Panel.
    • Work Rows 2-6 of Stripe Pattern.
    • * With A, work 30 rows in Garter Stitch.
    • Work Rows 1-6 of Stripe Pattern.
    • Rep from * three more times.
    • With A, work 30 rows in Garter Stitch.

    • With B, bind off loosely.

    • Edging
    • With B, pick up and knit 261 sts along long edge of shawl at the rate of 1 st for every two rows along side panels and 1 st for every cast on or held stitch along center panel.

    • With B, bind off loosely.
    • Repeat along other long edge.

    • FINISHING
