Waste of money
I've used real beeswax for thread before. THIS is not real beeswax. It's a disgusting material that not only didn't prevent my thread from tangling but also made it tangle MORE! Even on sale, it's not worth the money. Skip this and find someone local who sells wax.

Wow, it really does make a difference
This thing really does make a difference when attaching buttons, whether shank or the multi-hole kind. The stiffness it provides seems to prevent twists and accidental knots. I’ve had mine for 10 years and I’ve barely put a dent in it. It does smell like beeswax, obviously, in case that kind of smell bothers you. I run my thread thru twice after making the end knot and before threading the hand needle.

Makes Hand Sewing Easier
I really like this product. The container makes handling the Beeswax easy and helps to manipulate the thread through the wax. It makes the thread glide through the material more easily and doesn't leave a mark. This product also helps thread not to twist up and get tangled like it does when you don't use anything.
