The package of pins I bought at least 20% of them have a bur on them. You feel it when trying to pin fabric together. It is like using a pin with no point.

Pins Great - Case Terrible - Yellow Hard to See
I needed glasshead pins to avoid melting the plastic ones. These pins are beautiful. Made in the Czech Republic, where I've purchased several different -- but all wonderful -- glass items.
The case that comes with the pins is utter garbage. Already cracked before I even opened the package. It's that thin, brittle, cheap plastic. Dritz should have used those sturdy plastic cases their safety pins used to come in. I have a few I've saved, so I pitched the trash these glasshead pins came in and put them in the old Dritz container.
The blue pins are gorgeous and easy to see, but the yellow ones are practically clear and are very difficult to see. I put the blue pins on my cushion and the yellow ones in the container. I wish the color choice would have been blue and pink... something that would be easy to spot.

Fine Pins, For Fine Material.
I used these pins recently on a delicate project a couple of days ago, I love the length of the pins and if im using a delicate fabric it doesn't leave tiny holes in the fabric, I would gladly buy a dozen pins like this.
