Dritz® My Double Deluxe Dressform (20406)-Medium is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best for the price I do a lot of formal sewing - big crinoline or hoop skirt type and design a lot of details. I am able to create without someone being there constantly to make sure it fits. I have both sizes in this dress form and the full figure regular dress form. I would not be without them. While I love these forms, I have found problems. Because of the weight of the dresses I sew, I have found the height screw unreliable and had to drill holes in the leg and use cotter pins to hold them up. Also for bust and waist changes, I use a tight fitting strech camisole and fit in bust enhancers and sometimes wrap a towel under the camisole. For regular dresses and pants, these can't be beat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Won't sew without it I have owned these dressforms for 27 years. This is my third one and I had to have the form with the offset pole that allowed me to make slacks. If you sew for yourself or for others this is well worth every penny spent and will pay for itself in no time. How often have you made something for yourself, only to have it not fit properly and to the thrift store it went. With this dressform you will never have that problem and you can give fabulous clothing gifts without having to give your gift secret away by needing them to try things on for alterations or final fittings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, its a great dressform-its the closest I've been able to get to duplicate my body's measure- ments. This is the second dress- form I've had,I prefer this one-hands down. The other does not adjust and has center pole.I am very happy to have bought it,when it was on sale.It was the only way I would have bought it.I like the offset pole to make pants. It has been very helpful with all of my garment making projects. I do wished it would have had suggestions on how to use purchased batting or purchased padding for a closer duplicate of my body. If you are thinking of buying a dressform, I highly recommend this one over the others sold here at JoAnn's-if you are going to make pants, due to the pole being offset.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some of these reviews/ratings... ...should be avoided. Just because a form does not fit you exactly does not make it a "bad" form! The measurements are stated on the page, and no reasonably-priced form will fit everyone. That said, I'm pleasantly surprised with this form. I think for very heavy-duty sewing, it may be a bit light, but it is perfect for fitting, pinning, hemming, etc. The dials are easy to use. The only strange thing that I found was that the bust started at about 38", the waist at 30", and the neck at 13". Overall, a pretty good form. I'm very happy to have purchased it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from my first dressform! After seriously considering a duct tape form, I'm happy I decided to just go ahead with this form. I expected to see the empty gaps in the form after adjustment and just whipped up a quick stretched cover for it. Now I can pin where I need and I outlined my favorite bra onto it so now I have an idea of where to place straps and necklines. It's probably not exact but I think it will be close enough. And if I need to I can insert extra padding as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn't purchase again I have had four of these now (I need a small, med and large) and use them daily. I am searching for alternatives now, as these do NOT LAST. My first one fell apart (welds and gears) within a month, the manufacture replaced it, and the second fell apart within 3 months. the plastic screws don't hold, the dials work hard, and then break. I know that you get what you pay for, but this is not even worth the sale price. My large and small have held up only because I rarely use them!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for alterations, bad for serious draping. Great product, but not too good if you want to do major draping on it. There is no "cushion" to press pins through, and it made it impossible to hold anything on the form. I would recommend this product if your only doing alterations. When i received this product i was a little disappointed, it felt very cheep and flimsy, the plastic felt like it could break easily, so i had to be very careful when adjusting the size. I am sticking to profession dress forms from now on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from dritz dress form I had several forms by this company. The design of the body was changed aabout 5-7 years ago to make the bust look flat. That is the biggest minus to it. Second minus - the dials , which sometimes are hard to move and if the dress form accidentaly falls they broke so easily. After that , they could not be repaired. It's Ok when you don't need to adjust the size. The plus is that it so far the best form on the market. Others are even harder to use, especially if you work with fitted costumes, like dance outfits.
