Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Made for Heavy Use I make Renaissance Costumes and thought that this dress form would be perfect to help me do that. unfortunatly, I couldn't get the right fit off the form. The dials are VERY hard to move and to make matters worse....they broke! You can order new screws for the dials...but they cost way to much. I'm going to have to by a new dress form after only a year of semi use. Not happy w/ this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for the money, especially plus-sized This is not the highest quality dress form around. However, given the price and the difficulty getting plus-sized dress forms, it's not bad. The dials can be hard to work and bad for the fingernails. I put a cover on mine and padded it a bit to make it more "shapely", but all dress forms are flat in the behind. All in all, I'd say you get what you pay for and this form is worth the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for the casual sewer I got this dressform a couple years ago, and it is good for casual projects, but when I started getting into Victorian costuming it really became useless. The dials are hard to turn and painful, and for historical costuming, it is impossible to get the proper silhouette and drape the garments. The stand is also flimsy, and mine actually broke, so it is really short. I can't even use it to adjust hems! Good for a beginner, or someone making loose or casual garments. It gives a good approximate shape, but really isn't all that customizable. I wouldn't recommend it to many people. It is definitely not worth the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected Bought the form because I was making 5 bridesmaid dresses and my daughter's wedding dress. Everyone was out of town so I thought a dress form would be a great help. Boy was I wrong. Form is not adjustable so it certainly isn't a "double" of anything. The only good thing it was used for was holding my daughter's wedding dress up when I wasn't sewing on it. The dials are hard to move, not accurate and hurt your fingers to turn. Can't get accurate shape even with 10 dials. Form is flat chested--my daughter is NOT. Daughter has small waist large hips--this measurement is NOT possible on this form. Total dissappointment. Wish I had found at a thrift store for $15.00 because it is not worth almost $200 which is what I paid with shipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My problem solved My sewing projects are so much easier now that I can check the fit as I go along. I make alot of jackets and ponchos. To hem and see the results is fantastic! There are so many dials its impossible to not get a good fit. I'm very pleased!
