Dritz Pre-filled Reusable Plastic Bobbins with Thread Black & White is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from not good quality This thread is rough and has slubs and is inferior to the thread I use in the top of my machine. I have a Janome machine and from now on will only buy Janome pre-filled bobbins.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pre wound plastic bobbin I have been using these for years and I love them. When you are right of the middle of a project and the bobbin empties out. You just pop one of these in your holder and you have it. There is no need to go through all of steps involved. What a blessing. They used to come in a package of all white bobbins, to me it doesn't matter. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thanks for the information on how to start the thread I just purchased the multi color pack of pre-wound bobbins. I have several mending projects ( all different colors) and decided I would try the pre wound bobbins. It took over an hour to find the review at this site offering advice on this. Thank you Barry for posting that. I was able to easily pick up the outlying thread with the seam ripper once I realized what I was looking for. I have to give the item no higher than a 4 because of this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tip for Kimberly If you are having trouble locating the end of the thread, just use the tip of a seam ripper tool to lift a strand of thread from anywhere on the bobbin. Cut the thread there. Grasp both thread ends and strip off thread until one strand falls free from the bobbin. Cut the strand that is still attached to the bobbin or rewind it. Throw all the loose thread away. It will still be almost full and you will have an end in a few seconds.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from And the thread begins where?? I needed (wanted) more bobbins and these were on sale and the same price as empty ones (so why not go for the free thread) Well I have takena bout half of these out of the package so far and have only been ablt to use 2 of them. For some reason I am totally unable to figure out where the thread should start coming off, you would think it would be eas to find (and on the 2 I used it was) but I have spent about 10 min on one bobbin alone and it's just a total waste of time!!!
