The package of pins I bought at least 20% of them have a bur on them. You feel it when trying to pin fabric together. It is like using a pin with no point.

Quilters dream
I have purchased 3 packs of these. These are very thin, great for quilting when you don't want to poke big holes in your fabric and would probably be good for delicate fabrics. They are razor sharp, as in I stuck one all the way through the tip of my finger, ouch! Also, because they are thin then are easy to sew over.

Ugh! I did it again! Stay away from these
I have purchased these in bright colors a few years ago. The heads bend over and fall off. If I am trying to pin anything medium weight up, good luck... the bend. I opened the packages and dumped all 3 packs into my dish without testing... GIANT DISAPPOINTMENT!
