A little too good at disappearing
This pens ink starts to disappear minutes, if not seconds after I use it. I bought it to use with marking patterns and embroidery and it is basically unusable as it disappears that fast. Unless you sew like a speed demon or you only need to mark something for a couple seconds I'd buy a different pen

A nightmare!!
The ink disappeared alright - but reappeared after the quilt was washed! Now I have little circles on my customer’s quilt that won’t come out! I tried soaking it in Oxyclean and I tried alcohol. I can’t believe this!

Dried Out After First Day
I bought this pen last Saturday and used it the same day. It worked just fine that day and I was pleased to see the ink really disappeared as promised. However, when I went to use it again the next day I was shocked to see it was already drying out. I was floored. I had to redraw the lines on the back of the shade I was making several times, and by the time I'd get to the third line the first was already drying and disappearing so I had to give up on using it. I was so disappointed that I basically got one use out of the marker.
It really is a shame because you can remove the ink with iron steam, but I expected to be able to use it for more than a day!

Pens dried out
I have gotten these fine point pens before and they lasted longer and made a nice thin clear line. But these latest pens were already dried out it seems that all Dritz pens are now extra fine point which are useless.

Works great
Some of the ladies in the group I quilt with occasionally have difficulty seeing the markings on the quilt. Because the ink flows well, the pen works on small areas once the quilt is in the frame. The purple has worked best on light colors. I haven’t had as much success with the blue.
