Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for pearl snaps This kit works fine for the included snaps but pearl snaps are too large for it. I purchased it with a 50% coupon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money!! PIece of junk. Seriously non of the snaps would clasp together. Even my husband tried. Junk invest in something better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Got the job done I messed up a few of the snaps, user error I put them in backwards. Otherwise, it's a simple tool. I can't comment on the longevity of it, being its plastic and you whack it with a hammer, I can't imagine it will last too long. But for 1/4 the price of the pliers for occasional use, worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little snap attacher! Reading the previous reviews I wasn't sure it would work. Bought this a week ago to use for putting snaps on baby clothes. It works Great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been using one of these for about 40 years now. It finally just cracked when I hit it (admittedly too hard) with a hammer. I also have the pliers, but could never squeeze them tight enough to hold the snap firmly. Tip: If you insert the prong side up, take a pencil eraser and tamp down the fabric in the center. Then it will stay in place when you drop down the second piece of the "attacher". Insert the 2nd part of the snap and then put it down on the garage floor on a piece of wood and give it one whack with a tack hammer and it should be perfectly set.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not "Easy" This is my second snap fastener kit, and it works just as poorly as the first I bought. It seems like it would be easier, and I guess it seems easier, until I hammered and hammered and hammered and none of the snaps would secure to the fabric enough. I went through maybe four sets of snaps until I thought I secured a set enough, until i used it and when I pulled the snap apart it came off the fabric instead. So frustrating.
