States "23 colors." I count only 17. Where are the rest of the colors or do you have to mix to have another color?
I dyed 1 yard of black 100% cotton legacy studio with black followed directions to a T and it came out a dark weird color blue. Not happy
i am familiar with dylon as an English product and have not done any dying in years. I started back dying and bought another brand, not knowing that dylon was available to me here in the us. so glad to see that Joann's caries it. it is a great product
I dyed two pairs of pants and a tank top black with 4 packets of dye. I followed another recommendation to put gallon-sized ziploc bags on top of the clothes to keep them submerged. I left the clothes in the dye for 3 hours. They came out perfect.
I am quite surprised by the multitude of great reviews for this product. I bought the Ocean Blue color, and followed thedirections, and yet what was supposed to be a royal blue color ended up being a deep purple - no matter how much I diluted it as per the packaging, which says to mix it with 4 cups of hot water, then pour that into a sinkful of tepid water. I ended up having to pour all of it out because I could not use that color.
I have used other brands in the past. Dylon by far is the best I have ever used. I love vivid color selection. Bright beautiful color. Super easy to use and very true to color. I used Bahama Blue. It came out a perfect bright turquoise. So pretty. I hope JoAnns keep it in their store.
i got pink to tye dye breast cancer tees the color was so much nicer than tylip dye love how the shirts came out
I have always used this brand for tie-dye. My local stores didn't have this brand, so I had to get another one. After I washed them, the dye bled onto the white. This brand doesn't do that which makes it an awesome product.
