Easy Ladybug Cake

o 10"x16" Non-Stick Cooling Grid
o 10"x14" Cake Board
o Fanci-Foil Wrap
o White Ready-To-Use Decorator Icing — 4.5 lb. Tub
o Icing Colors: Christmas Red, Black
o 9" Angled Spatula
o 12" Disposable Decorating Bags
o Cake Decorating Tips: 18, 12, 3
• Favorite cake recipe or mix (4½ cups needed)
• Food-safe scissors
• Cellophane tape
1. Make cake. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Spray cake pan with non-stick spray. Bake cake and allow to cool according to pan package directions. Place cake on cut-to-fit, foil-wrapped cake board.
2. Decorate cake. Tint portions of decorator icing red and black. Reserve some white. Use spatula and black icing to ice head, triangle wing section and inside cavities fluffy. Use tip 18, a cut disposable decorating bag and red icing to pipe fill-in stars on ladybug body. Use tip 12, a cut disposable decorating bag and white icing to pipe ball eyeballs. Use tip 3, a cut disposable decorating bag and black icing to pipe dot pupils.
Project Tip: Add a little sparkle to your ladybug by sprinkling her with Wilton Red Sugar or White Sparkling Sugar.
