I found it to punch very easily and once you learn how to do a run of punches for a larger punch area it's easy. I practiced on a regular paper first so I could learn where to line up the punch perfectly so there were no interruptions when I punched an area longer than one pass through with the punch. Once you learn how to line it up properly it looks wonderful along the edge of your project!! I'm glad I bought it but I would say try to buy it when there's a sale or you have a coupon. I find punches to be a bit pricey everywhere. I would have given it a perfect five if not for the price.
