    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for laundering wool I love Eucalan and it really is worth the cost over more conventional detergents. Even The Wirecutter/The Sweet Home (The New York Times consumer review department) rated it the best hand washing detergent for wool. It is gentle and the lanolin really perks up and moisturizes the wool, making it lustrous and new-looking. I was using the little bottles up quickly during the winter (even used it on a wool coat and it turned out fine), so I decided it was worth it to get a gallon jug. I prefer fragrance-free, but Eucalan also comes in several natural-smelling scents if you prefer scented.
