Reviews
F.A. Edmunds Adjustable Craft Floor Stand is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Annoying I ordered this stand for cross stitching. I had this stand for less than 12 hours when the clamps all loosened up and it started to tilt and droop. I tightened them again, really tight, and in 4 hours it was drooping again. My boyfriend tightened the wing clamps with pliers and hand cranked the tri knobs and sure enough the next day it was drooping all over again. Also there is no way to get to the back of your work, which makes starting and ending threads a huge pain in the butt! I definitely would not recommend this to anyone, and highly suggest paying more for a better stand like the tag a long by ks creations!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Frame...Grumpy Clamp I ordered this frame about 4 years ago (back when there was little else out there in this price range). The PROS: The frame is very adjustable and stable - quick and easy to assemble - inexpensive The CONS: The CLAMP - the part that 'grips' and holds your hoop or scroll frame in place... It is essentially 2 flat pieces of wood (w/ 1 slight center groove in the center of each piece) and a couple of wingnuts. The "clamp" simply will not "GRAB ON" to your needlework frame. Gravity wins w/ this clamp - your scroll frame or hoop will slowly, but surely start tipping from horizontal to vertical in no time. I would only recommend this if the frame or hoop you intend to "Clamp" is no wider than the clamp itself-approx 7" wide or less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected...great value I am using this product to hold a fine gauge 196 peg knitting loom, which is about two feet across and difficult to manage while knitting. The frame holds it in place securely, allowing me to pull the loom as close to my body as desired. I can sit straight to avoid back strain and still knit! I have had the loom in the clamp of the frame for over a week, and it has not moved at all. It holds it very securely yet can be removed easily by loosening the nuts. I love this product and wish I had bought it sooner!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good buy I purchased this frame a few weeks ago and am using it every evening, with a 17 x 17 Q-Snap frame. I agree w/Kat that the clamp doesn't hold the frame in one place - but that's good for turning it up to work on the back, starting or ending stitching. I seem to be working almost twice as fast - previously I was holding my work with one hand. I'm very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Buy...Worth the Money This is a terrific frame! I ordered this about two months ago and I have used it almost everyday, in many different places of my home - the couch, my favorite chair, and even flattened out in the bed. I use it primarily for crosstitching with a 12 inch hoop. I haven't had any problems with it grabbing on to my frame at all - it also holds the extra fabric nicely as well. Great buy!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stand is very small Bought this since it was marketed as a "floor stand". Hoping to eliminate some of the neck strain and headaches I've had using just hoops. After receiving it the stand is barely tall enough for me to sit in a regular folding chair and have it at a workable height. I have no idea how people have gotten this to work when in a recliner. It does appear to be a good, sturdy product but just not large enough for me to use when sitting in any sort of chair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiltgranny I just received this adjustable floor stand a few days ago and it works great. Easy to adjust and comes almost completey put together. I am using it to quilt pillow tops and I am very pleased with its performance and ease of use. I can also use it sitting in my recliner with my feet up. All I can say is I am very pleased with my purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I truly appreciate the frame It makes my needlepoint and cross stitch easier to work on. For the price you cannot go wrong. I am able to sit in my recliner or any chair and feel comfortable working on the frame. It is a great frame for a beginner.
