Rated 3 out of 5 by from MUCH Smaller than Picture Read the dimensions carefully!!! I will be returning promptly because the picture makes it look bigger than product is in real life. I have a larger quilt and it appears to be bigger than it is in real life

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Design Too big to use on a rocker/recliner. there's a nicely designed lap frame in three sizes on joann's could definitely up the quality of their frames overall. It would be nice to have some updated cross stitch kit patterns as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very happy I bought this several months ago and am glad I did! I am overall very happy with the product. It does ten to get a little loose after extended periods of use but so far I can re-tighten the knobs and all is well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Stitcher's Dream If you like to stitch large projects and sit back in your chair or on a couch then this product is a great idea. I have been using this for a couple of years and have just now bought a second one (hint: buy when joann's has a 40% off coupon). I can sit comfortable on my couch with my back reclined and stitch (good with an ott light). When you need to flip the frame when ending a needle just swivel, I have not had any problems with broken knobs or retightening (I keep a screwdriver nearby just in case but rarely use it). It also holds my fabric nice and taut. I love stitching on this lap stand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Happy I bought this frame because I started working on a large project. I had never owned a frame like this before. I am so happy I got it. I am able to work almost twice as fast as before and my hands don't hurt like they did when I was trying to hold the frame with one hand and stitch with the other. The one problem I had was that the two 3" screws that hold the frame on to the "legs" were not in the box when I got it home from the store. I e-mailed the company and they sent me out the screws the next day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as happy as I originally thought To begin with, this frame was great, it fit across my lap and I could cross-stitch w/o holding on to anything. After several projects, I now have problems keeping the project tight, the wooden knobs have pulled off the metal part, leaving exposed screws. Everytime I move the frame to go to the back of the cloth, I have to retighten the whole thing and since the knobs have come off, this makes for a very difficult situtation. I don't recommend this frame to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "They don't make 'em better than this"! This frame can be used for just about any sized embroidery, needlepoint or cross stitch project. When using short extender bars the frame sits comfortable around one leg, long extenders stretch the frame comfortably across the lap. It is a solid, well built frame that remains stable on just about any surface. Being disabled, I use mine mainly in bed & it rests on my mattress with no problem. When on sale it is an exceptional value & well worth the $ spent when you start enjoying the ease of stitching any project on this frame. The frames description is accurate and extender bars can be purchased seperately in whatever length needed to easily & comfortably complete any needle craft project. I have 2 & will get #3 when on sale again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this frame I've had this frame for several years and liked it so much I've given them as gifts! I love that it doesn't rest on my lap, but on either side of my legs, so I can move around a little without upsetting my work. As one reviewer mentioned, it does mean that I can't use very short bars, but I can't see what difference that makes.
