NOTE: Seam allowances are ¼", ½" & Raw Edge. RS= Right side(s).

Cuff: Fabric: Two Pieces 8-7/8" x 3-7/8".
Fusible Interfacing: Two Pieces 8-7/8" x 3-7/8".
Fabric: Six Pieces 11" x ½. (Braided pieces)
Necklace: Fabric: One piece 36½"x 1½", two pieces 29¼" x 1", two pieces 3½"x 2¼",
three pieces 30¼" x 1", three pieces 22½" x ½, three pieces 21½"x ½".
(braided strips).

1. Pin RS of fabric together. (36½"x 1½" & 29 ¼"x 1")
2. Turn RS out through open end(s) Tip: Hook a safety pin to one side and push it
through the tube to the opposite end to turn the fabric RS out.
3. Press pieces flat and tie knots in desired places.
4. Pin braided strips together with a safety pin (Holds Fabric together) and braid pieces together. When you reach the end of the braid pin both ends together with safety pin to hold into place. (Raw edges)
5. Layer shorter pieces to longer pieces as desired, creating a layered effect, baste ends together at 1/4".
6. Insert ends of fabric into smaller tube (3½ x 2¼")
7. Machine stitch one side of the tube to the ends of the layered tubes and braids ½".
8. Fold ends under ½".
9. Hand sew open side of tube to side with layered pieces, stitching the opening closed.
10. Hand sew buttons on, giving the necklace your own personal touch.
