HTC Fuse-A-Shade Fabric Roller Shade Kit is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shade - here's a bracket install diagram This is the 2nd time I've used this kit. It is time consuming and I had to read the directions about 5 times - read them 1st or you risk cutting something wrong. The fabric instructions are inside the tube. No bottom slat was provided. Seam fuse was included. No instructions for brackets so I searched and found these. The end product is great - thoroughly reading the instructions and preparation are key.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from instructions inside core I saw a couple of reviews complaining that there were no instructions. The product description says they are inside the core.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unusable The kit looked fine until I realized there were no directions for making the shade or mounting it in the window. Also, there was no rod for the bottom of the shade. The investment of time to try to obtain full directions and purchase a rod for the bottom of the shade was not worth it. The kit is useless to me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Opposite of what I expected Horrible to put together. Cheap hardware. Didn't even get any screws.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Kit but proceed with CAUTION! Read both sets of directions before you start and continue to read them together with each step. The MOST important part of a successful finished product is fixing the brackets to your window frame and cutting the roller the correct size. DO THIS FIRST! Make sure you leave enough room at the top for your rolled up fabric. Then, measure your fabric to the size of the roller NOT the width of your window. I had to steam open my shade to lessen the width and re-fuse it - messy. Another important step (per the instructions) is to cut your fabric on the grain to ensure your shade rolls up and down easily. You will need to purchase a pull bar for the bottom of your shade and my kit didn't come with any screws for the brackets. Good Luck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought a make your own roller shade kit and am really happy with the result. It took some time, but looks great. This was a no sew kit. I did need to add a lining as my fabric design was bold. I would make another one without hesitation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use! I did a nice roller shade for my room. I prefer to use only a single fabric without the backing. The backing makes some bubbles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, easy to make! Just what I needed in the laundry room window. I added a valance above the shade to hide the shade hardware. My fabric was too transparent to fold back on the sides. Dritz Fray Check on the cut edges of the fabric will protect it; the previous one lasted 16 years! Note: directions are inside the roller. I used a stick-on hook with Velcro to hold the pull cord taut. I put a plastic bar inside the hem in case some pulls the bottom of the shade instead of using the cord.
