- Vickie Howell Sheep(ish) yarn: 1 skein each A Plum(ish) & B Magenta(ish)
- Size US 10½", knitting needles 18" long needles or size needed to obtain gauge
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch marker
GAUGE: 12 sts x 16 rows= 4" in Seed Stitch pattern
With DOUBLE STRAND of A, CO 72 sts. Join rnd, taking care not to twist; place marker.
First to 4th Rnds: *K2, p2; rep from * around.
5th Rnd: *K1, p1; rep from * around.
6th Rnd: *P1, k1; rep from * around.
These two rnds make Seed Stitch pattern.
Repeat 5th and 6th Rnds until piece measures 4" from edge.
Cut A, leaving a tail for weaving. Join one strand EACH of A and B, held together.
Repeat 5th and 6th Rnds until piece measures 7" from edge.
Cut A and B, leaving a tail for weaving. Join DOUBLE STRAND of B.
Repeat 5th and 6th Rnds until piece measures 11" from edge.
Repeat first to 4th Rnds, once.
Bind off in K2, p2 rib.
Weave in ends.
