Healing Foam
My husband l recently needed some firm cushion support for his reclining chair while recovering from a hip injury. Joann's had a great foam selection with various sizes, thicknesses and firmness. The Project Foam 24x36x5 was perfect. Although it had good foam density, it also had enough give to be comfortable for two chair cushions when cut in half. Cutting was easy and it did not tear. Since it was a temporary fix, we wrapped the Project Foam in a sheet rather than having it upholstered. It has maintained it's usefulness months later and will probably be used for more permanent upholstery projects later.

Our old chair is brought back to life!
We had a completely unusable oversized chair that was transformed into the most comfortable spot in the living room once we replaced the old sprung cushion innards with this 5” thick foam. We just measured the dimensions of the old cushion, sliced down the foam to fit, and voila! No need to replace our chair..it has a new lease on life. I love that the cushion bounces back into place as soon as you stand up from the seat. Now everybody wants to sit in the chair and I’m not embarrassed to have guests relax in my living room
