- Bernat® Mega Bulky™ Light Grey Heather (2 balls)
- Crochet hook Size U.S. S (19 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
- Version 1: 1 button approx 1-1/4" [3 cm] in diameter
- Version 2: Approx 1 yd [.9 m] satin ribbon 1-1/2" [4 cm] wide
- Measuring tape
SIZE: One size to fit average woman.
Approx 28" [71 cm] around neck and 13" [33 cm] deep.
GAUGE: 4 hdc and 4 rows = 4" [10 cm].
Note: Ch 2 at beg of rows counts as hdc throughout.
1st row: (RS). V-st in 4th ch from hook (counts as hdc and V-st). *Skip next 2 ch. V-st in next ch. Rep from * to last 2 ch. Skip next ch. 1 hdc in last ch. 17 V-sts. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 2. *V-st in ch-1 sp of next V-st. Rep from * to last hdc. 1 hdc in last hdc. Turn.
Rep last row 5 times more.
Next row: (RS). Ch 2. *Hdc2tog over ch-1 sps of next 2 V-sts. V-st in ch-1 sp of each of next 3 V-sts. Rep from * twice more. Hdc2tog over ch-1 sps of next 2 V-sts. 1 hdc in last hdc. Turn.
Next row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st across, skipping ch-1 sps. 24 sc.
Version 1: Button: Sew button to top right edge of Shoulderette, using sp between sts of opposite side as buttonhole.
Version 2: Ribbon: Thread ribbon through sps between sts at top side edges of Shoulderette. Tie in bow to secure.
