Very soft and plush, exactly what I was looking for!
I bought this from Joanne fabrics. I taught myself how to sew with the heavy duty singer sewing machine. Wanted to make a throw blanket for gifts because Christmas is coming soon. I'm absolutely happy the way it turned out, thanks Joanne fabrics..

Very soft and cuddly.
Yes it sheds when you cut it. It's faux fur. Once it is washed and sewn and seems hidden, it does not shed. It's still worth the clean up while and after sewing.

Nice and soft but not great for some things
I got this to back a minky blanket. First was was excited that the shedding was minimal and a bit to be expected. The fabric now sheds horribly and has fuzz everywhere in the house. I have washed it in cold water with a vinegar rinse and still fuzz and lint everywhere. Not good for my granddaughter. I am going to cut it apart and get something else to back her lovely blanket with. This is lovely to look at and feel just don't wash or move it too much shedding

Fabric is pretty and feels soft but lots of little strands shed when cutting the fabric and during the wash cycle.
