Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my texture tool I love my texture tool and texture plates. I find it much easier to use that just a stylus. I have found that you can press hard and have a sore hand or take a few minutes more and not use as much pressure. Wax paper works great. I've never tried water but sounds like something I'd like to try. I use a circular pattern while holding the tool straight up and down. I found some great advice on using the tool at http://www.fiskarscrafts.com/articles/t_embossing-tips-and-techniques.aspx If you have a lot of lines showing, are you remembering to work on the back side of your paper?

I have to try it with wax paper I guess but so far the embossed image hardly shows, instead I get a ton of lines that the tool puts in my paper. If anyone has any idea of what I might be doing wrong, feel free to respond to this! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I don't know what all the complaining's about Obviously, it's not as easy as the cuttlebug, but for a little hand-held device, it works excellently! It works great on Stampin' Up and cardstockish paper. If you have bad hands, spend the $45(sale price)-to $300. But for $4.00, this tool is a great deal!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from takes work! I bought this tool to save hand cramping when embossing with a stylus. Doesn't save the work! Hard, hard, hard on the hands! It still has it's applications, but not as good as I thought it would be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SPRITZ PAPER WITH WATER FIRST!!! I found this tool hard to use at first until I spritzed the back of my paper/cardstock (the side you'll be using the toll on) with water first. Just a light covering. If you rub with wax paper first, even better. Hope this helps!!
