Does not work as advertised.I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It does not spring open and is difficult to open manually. Definitely not worth the price.

Could be better FiskarsThe spring really does help, but after cutting 10 yards the scissors started to jam up a traditional thumbhole would help these shears in the event, they become jammed. Just being honest in case Fiskars reads my review and would like to make their product better.

Thats what I needIt takes practice to cut because I am not used to this kind of scissors. It cuts clean zigzag. I will have lots of use for my sewing projects. Glad I finally bought these.

Best product of its category, disappointing for FiskarsFiskars Easy Action line has been a lifesaver; as a sewer hit with arthritis as a young adult, this line of scissors has allowed me to keep going with my craft and use scissors again. I finally decided to get pinking shears from this line. They were unexpectedly really disappointing. The quality of plastic is so much lower than that of the many other Fiskars Easy Action scissors I have. The pinking shears are a lot less comfortable to hold and require a lot of force because they get stuck from the friction of the cheap plastic - really defeats the purpose for arthritic hands. However, these are the best spring action pinking shears I’ve come across, which is really unfortunate… If you’re dead set on pinking shears that have spring action, then go for these ones. If you struggle with arthritis or weak hand grip, look elsewhere

Right and dullI would not recommend these pinking shears. If you are wanting to use them on thick material, they will not preform well. Mine were extremely tight and sticking 9 times out of 10. Had to use both hands to open and close them. By the time I was done with the pinking process, my hands were cramped. And they were dull. There was a spot where they won’t cut through… very disappointed with this purchase.

Excellent pinking shearsThis is so much easier on my hands. Pinking shears are hard to cut with, and this reduces the difficulty significantly.
