Bernat® Fleurettes™ has long smooth sections and short looped sections approx 1" long. Skip looped sections, pulling them to front of work.
With A, cast on 171 sts loosely. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows: Knit 2 rows (garter st), noting first row is WS.
Next row: (WS). K3. *M1. K12. Rep from * to end of row. 185 sts. Break A.
Proceed in pat as follows:
1st row: (RS). With B, K3. *(K2tog) twice. (yo. K1) 3 times. yo. (ssk) twice.
K1. Rep from * to last 2 sts. K2.
2nd row: K2. Purl to last 2 sts. K2.
3rd to 10th rows: Rep 1st and 2nd rows 4 times more. Break B.
