SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1/2 Yard Simplicity 2" ivory sewing needle & chiffon ruffle trim coordinating thread
- 1/4 Yard Simplicity®/MD® ivory scissors beaded bridal lace trim
- 10" of 6" wide ivory tulle
- 1/4" wide metal headband
- Hot glue gun & glue sticks
1.Cut a length of beaded trim approximately 6" and also one flower motif. Hot glue 6" length to headband, beginning 2-1/2" from one side.
2.Cut a length 15" of chiffon trim. Cut the layers apart at the fold, creating two layers.
3.Sew a running stitch 1" above the satin edge of the chiffon trim and gather by pulling one end of thread.
4.Coil into a bloom and secure with hot glue.
5.Use hot glue to secure flower motif into center of chiffon bloom.
6.Sew a running stitch 1/4" from bottom edge of tulle and gather by pulling one end of thread.
7.Use hot glue to secure tulle gather behind chiffon trim bloom.
8.Use hot glue to secure bloom to headband in desired position.
