Buying a second pair
These are excellent shears, I wish I'd have bought them years ago, instead of struggling with inferior ones. I'm buying a second pair, because Gingher (still!) offers sharpening and tuning service, but it takes 2-3 weeks to get them back. But they do a much better job sharpening and adjusting, they come back like new. LOVE them!

I've owned these scissors for 20 years at least. They are amazing. I've never had to sharpen them, and they still cut a thread with the tips. I'm in the process of buying another pair for our second home so I don't have to remember to pack them. Good price when they're on sale!
Lasts forever!
I bought a pair of these scissors over twenty years ago. They cut just as sharp today as they did on the first day I used them. Excellent investment!
SO worth it!!
I was using a stupid rotary cutter before, and all my patterns were fraying, and I had to go over everything twice. It wasn't satisfying. So I decided to buy these scissors, just because they were nice looking haha. Man these babies are tough! I cut through six layers of denim no problem, and NO frayed edges. It's super easy to open/close, also. RECOMENDED!! :) Recomend to everyone and anyone! :)
unhappy with product
find them very hard to cut with even tho i put oil on them too hard to open and close. no one knows what to do about it. will not buy anymore of this brand

I had no scissors. You see, I thought I could use ANY scissors to cut fabric. After almost shredding a piece of fabric, I decided to see what scissors everyone elase was using. Everyone like the Ghinger brand or was coveting a Ghinger anything, so I decided to get me a Ghinger. It really is quite expensive, but, it's worth every cent, I love it!! It cuts fabric like butter, It makes such a difference. I know it's pricey but, if you have to, just save for it and buy it, you will not regret it!

Amazing!
I brought these scissors during a 50% Off sale. They are beautiful scissors, no plastic and super strong. They cut though fabric like butter with no issues. It makes my cutting time faster because I spend a lot of time pre-cutting by hand instead of using a rotary cutter. I love these scissors, I think they were worth the price. They come in a pretty tin and sheath. Use the sheath when not using to protect your fabrics, yourself, and others as these are very sharp! I do not recommend any other brand :)
