Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores® is proud to directly support many national non-profit organizations. Since 1943, we have contributed to programs that serve our communities and have strived to ensure their ongoing strength and well-being.

Today, this support is continuously increasing as we discover new ways to give, share and help. To assist in making a larger impact, we've partnered with these worthwhile national organizations:

How to Apply For a Donation

  1. Click on Contact Us
  2. Select "Corporate Giving" from the drop down topic list.
  3. Complete the information page with all other required fields.
  4. Click the "Submit" button.

The following information is required for all requests. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

  1. Name of the non-profit organization
  2. Type of donation requested
  3. Purpose of the donation
  4. Date the donation is needed

Funding Exclusions

  • Individuals
  • Organizations without a current, valid 501(c)(3) tax exemption status
  • Requests for gift cards
  • Sponsorships for athletic teams/events
  • Requests to support travel costs for groups or individuals
  • Political advocacy groups
  • Scholastic scholarships
  • Association/Chamber memberships
  • Aid for foreign countries
  • Advertising or film projects
  • Program advertising or other marketing efforts
  • Funding for general operating expenses

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I know if my organization is eligible to receive support?
A: To request a charitable donation, your organization must be a federally tax-exempt, section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, school, library or public agency. Only organizations that are verified with a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) designation, as determined by the Internal Revenue Service, will be considered.
Q: My 501(c)(3) has a pending status; can I still receive a donation?
A: Jo-Ann does not assist any organization with a pending 501(c)(3) status.
Q: When are donation requests accepted?
A: Requests are accepted all year and reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the beginning of each month.
Q: May I send a request directly to a Jo-Ann store?
A: Only requests through Joann.com® are accepted.
Q: Can I mail a copy of my request to the corporate office?
A: Only online submissions are considered. Requests by phone or mail are not accepted.
Q: When will I be contacted about the status of my request?
A: After you submit your request, our Corporate Giving Department will review the information. All requests, whether approved or declined, are responded to within 4-6 weeks of acceptance. Please add corporategiving@joann.com to your e-mail address book to ensure our response arrives in your in-box.
