Made of 100% fine polyester, this versatile thread is durable and comes in various warm shades of the color palette with a lustrous finish. It is specially designed for hand and machine sewing and works great with all kinds of fabrics and seams. The sewing thread is tear-resistant, and can be used for secure stitching without fiber lint and seam crimping even with the finest needles from size NM60. Use the thread or combination of two colors to make button holes and closing, quilting, overlock , safety or embroidery seams, for attractive home decor projects and fine apparel. Each Sew-all polyester thread spool measures 273 yards.

This is the 2nd time that I have ordered thread online from Joanns, and it's been dirty. Not just a little bit, A LOT! Also, I could see that the thread had been hand wound. I guess it's a way that they can unload their bad stock to the customers instead of damaging it out. It's kinda like going through the drive-through. You usually get stale cold fries, etc. Don't send dirty, damaged goods to the online customers just because you don't have to face them. I work on wedding gowns and need clean thread.

The BEST AP thread
I’ve been using this brand since my N00b sewing days and even when I’ve royally messed up, it’s never frayed or broke, which is more than I can say for the other brands on the JoAnn shelf. It’s actually pretty difficult to break the thread when you want to with a seam ripper; you have to cut about every third straight stitch. Three yards of removed stitches and it’s time to buy a new seam ripper. I’ve had quilting fabric fall apart with 100x machine washes before the thread gave out.
Honestly, I can’t say enough about Gutermann quality. I use nothing else.

The best thread for quality garments/trouble-free
I have used and recommended this thread since the 1970s when I first started using it. Trouble-free sewing (little-to-no shedding, tangling, or other naughty thread habits). Beautiful color selections that give both color number and color name. Nice finish to the seam's appearance. Try one spool and see what you think compared to other brands.

Perfect Matching Color
I had a periwinkle blue dress that I needed to bring in but wanted to find the closet color match possible. 930 Periwinkle worked out great! The thread is very strong and durable. Glad I took a chance on this brand!
