It's easy to just pull off and break the top part of it, but over all, the needles are good quality and the container is nice as long as you're not too rough with it.

Singer is known for quality and these needles are no exception, which is why I'm buying more. Perfect little holder, 25 different size and they are easy to thread, as long as you knot your thread, they don't come undone.

I spend half my time re-threading the needle because it comes undone often when I pull the thread through. It isn't the cloth, or my way of sewing - it's the needles. A friend tried it for me and agrees.
